Saving one of the world’s raddest trails in one of the baddest places on Earth
We exist to SAVE the Maah Daah Hey Trail from overgrowth, erosion, and extinction. Partnering with the USFS, we put in the sweat—mowing, trimming, pruning, and shoveling over 180 miles of trail—so the MDH stays alive, rideable, and unforgettable for every hiker, runner, and rider, year after year.
About
It all started with a simple love for the land. In 2012, Nick and Lindsey Ybarra, a couple deeply connected to North Dakota’s wild spaces, noticed the Maah Daah Hey Trail fading away.

Donate
Your gift directly funds mowers, fuel, and tools to keep the trail alive. 100% of donations go to MDH preservation—no overhead salaries.
